I've been working in the computer industry for nearly ten years, but have been playing video games since the early days of the Atari 2600. I divide my gaming time between my Windows PC and my Sony PlayStation 3. I'm always on the hunt for a great RPG, but have a soft spot for first person shooters. I consider Civilization one of the greatest games ever made, but I find most other management type games like it to be boring. I can't stand The Sims.
I recently gave World of Warcraft a try, and it just reinforced my idea that MMORPG's are not for me. I've previously tried Everquest and Dark Age of Camelot, and I just can't get into them. I think the penny pincher in me doesn't like the idea of paying monthly fees to play games, either.
I am current playing:
- Need for Speed Shift on PS3
- Resistance 2 on PS3
- Battlefield 1943 on PS3

My first computer was an Apple IIgs, since then I've owned about 10 different PC's. I think Apple makes great computers, but they just aren't for me. If I wasn't a PC gamer, then I would probably own a Mac just because they are so much less hassle. I still sometimes miss the good old days of PC gaming where you needed a custom boot disk just to make a game run.
