Tolga is actually a Master Mariner, graduate of Istanbul Technical University Maritime Faculty. After spending some years in both merchant marine including one year on board naval vessels, he took his MBA in Koc University, Istanbul. Then he started working for the largest container carrier in Turkey, in Agency department for Marine Operations. During his MBA, he concentrated particularly on management information systems, cost control and operations management (decision support systems).
He is a computer enthusiast since Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48K (a.k.a. Speccy). He is still involved in company-based IT projects. He has a strong background in enterprise & small office operational efficiencies, workflow integration and systems analysis.
