I was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. After attending college in Wisconsin, my husband and I moved to Portland, Oregon. For fun, I like to read suspense and mystery books, take walks, drive to the coast, improve my Spanish, and spend time with family and friends.
I am currently an Instructional Designer & Trainer for Hewlett-Packard where I evaluate and develop e-Learning and instructor-led training materials for HP's State and Local Government clients. I am also an Independent Consultant who specializes in Human Resource Management and Training & Development.

I have worked with a number of small businesses to develop sustainable organizational strategies and personnel goals. My efforts have included writing training manuals and employee handbooks, streamlining HR processes and standards of practice, stabilizing turnover by improving and customizing training programs, enhancing organizational communication, delivering leadership and department-specific training, and developing and implementing company-wide motivational initiatives.
I have worked in a number of HR-related positions for over five years. My experiences range from being the primary HR provider for a small, customer service business to being one of many Senior HR Administrators for a world-wide technology services company. I have gained valuable experience in new employee on-boarding, training development and delivery, immigration, compensation and benefits, employee records management, and employment law.
