About Me

Born and bred in The Hague, The Netherlands, Leah now lives with her husband, two home educated daughters and two cats in the east of the country.

Although she really enjoys spending time with her family and friends, deep down Leah is a solitary person, who needs a lot of time alone; time she often spends daydreaming about her writing, thinking up plots and messing with the lives of the people she created.

Leah loves reading, writing, playing the piano and singing. She also loves chocolate, Baileys, Licor 43 and Martini. But never too much, because what's the point in getting drunk?

My Experience

Leah has written several short stories, articles and ebooks in both Dutch and English. Her (Dutch) book on homeschooling will be published in the second half of 2009.

Leah has designed several websites, and has recently started designing/modifying blogger templates.

Leah has 7 years experience as a home educating parent and is actively involved in the Dutch Home Educating community.

Leah is an ESL teacher, and is involved in developing educational material for ESL courses for children, aged 4-12.
