Meryl K. Evans, Content Maven, is the author of Brilliant Outlook Pocketbook and the co-author of Adapting to Web Standards: CSS and Ajax for Big Sites. She has written and edited for AbsoluteWrite, ECT News Network, The Dallas Morning News, Digital Web, Gamezebo, MarketingProfs, PC Today, O’Reilly, Pearson, Sams, Wiley, and WROX. Meryl has written copy for businesses ads and games including Fib-or-Not? and Meet, Mix, and Mingle.
She often writes about technology, software, games, marketing and writing.Meryl has been blogging since 2000 with her Meryl's Notes Blog and also blogs about deafness. She has worked with New York University from 2000 to 2008. Meryl currently works with NYU graduate students on their theses.
Meryl was born and bred in Fort Worth, Texas. After a brief stint in Washington, DC and working for the Federal government, she and her husband moved back to Texas and settled in Plano. They have three kids who don't wear 10-gallon hats and cowboy boots.
