My name is Melissa, I have been writing ever since I learned how to hold a pen properly. I'm 26 years old... I always tend to have a hard time with these bio things haha! I love lots of things so I won't just randomly spout out hobbies just to impress you.
My first ever published story was when I was in the 3rd grade. Although my story didn't hit the masses, it was the first piece of writing I was ever proud of and recognized for in school. Tee-hee! That short story molded me in to the writing junkie I am today.
My second published work is in a hardcover textbook and includes a short poem by yours truly. It's hidden among thousands of other poems though...but hey, it's there, and that's all that counts.
I hold a top 100 title on Associated.com, I write for Bukisa, ehow, sharedreviews, gather and Hubpages, I also have a few blogs scattered around the net, and I'm pretty sure I'm missing a few other writing sites and gigs I have done as well. Basically I am all over the place, and jump at any writing opportunity thrown my way! My passions include video gaming, the earth and universe, and nothing manages to amuse me more than new technology. Yeah, so I'm a nerd. Nerds are so in though...right?
