I'm a freelance writer and artist. I love my work; it's a great way of always learning something new.

I also love my mother, the Himalayas, Asterix and Garfield, Matisse and Van Gogh, Mozart and Strauss, Edward Lear and Kenn Nesbit, Mark Twain and Henry Louis Mencken, Richard Feynman and Niels Bohr, physics and biology, history and archaelogy, languages and literature, traveling and meandering, gardening and bird-watching, playing the violin and singing, the Koi in my lotus pond and my three dogs, Munchkin, Chubary and Meijin.

I'm fluent in three languages (Hindi, Marathi and English), reasonably understand three others (Gujarati, Punjabi and Urdu) and am studying French, Spanish, Chinese and Arabic.

I've freelanced since I left college. I run a studio called Maysun In C, specializing in Fine Art, Children's Book Illustration, Graphic Design, Web Design and Writing.

As a writer, I've written on a wide variety of topics for Worthpoint Corporation, Buzzle, eHow, wiseGeek, Tribal Fusion, Traffic Monsters, Iguana Magazine and JAM Magazine.

I've also worked as an illustrator for Iguana Magazine, Kappa Publishing Group, Katha Publishers and Scholastic India.
