Nestled in the mountains of Western North Carolina with her husband and son, Lucinda is a full-time freelance writer and recent college graduate. Having received her A.S. in Interactive Media and Web Design in
September, the Managing Editor position allows Lucinda to showcase her
knowledge while improving skill.
In addition to freelance writing, she is working on establishing a web and graphic design firm with her husband. They hope to launch Karmic Interactive Solutions full scale before the Thanksgiving Holiday.
Lucinda's New Year's resolution this year was to become a successful
work-at-home Mom. In finding Bright Hub and the many opportunties to
provide valuable content, she is finally able to solidfy her
committment to and fufilment of the only resolution to make it past
February.
Lucinda contributes to other channels here on the Bright Hub network to share knowledge and learn in other areas related to her channel such as: Project Managment, Google, and Online Collaboration.
The love for computers in general feeds contributions to the Computer Hardware, Green Computing, and Windows channels.
Her desire to maintain a healthy lifestyle, and to help others do the same, fuels the flame for the Environmental Science and Diet & Healthy Eating channels.
An odd obsession with maintaining a balanced budget along with striving to acheive financial security gives her an edge on Personal Finance. Add in the business launch, the lessons learned and lessons which still need teaching, and you have her motivation for both the Accounting and Small Business Security channels.
Lucinda hopes she will be able to inspire and enrich her readers through her content, as each topic holds a strong professional or personal attachment to her life.
