Lisa Schaffer is a stay-at-home mom of five children. She has spent her adult years parenting, homeschooling, and working in her husband's in-home business.
Since several of her children live with special issues, Lisa has researched these special issues extensively for the sake of her children: homeschooling, dyslexia, ADHD, autism, asperger's, epilepsy, and congenital heart disease.
Although doctor appointments and therapy sessions rule many days, Lisa has recently delved into freelance writing and found the perfect fit for her creativity.
Life in the Schaffer household is a crazy and happy life! Live, love, and laugh is the family motto. She blogs about it at All That and a Box of Rocks.
Lisa is a writer for the Bright Hub Early Childhood Education and Special Needs channels.
