About Me
My writing background is diverse. I began writing for Book Rags and then writing educational articles for Demand Studios and Bright Hub. I am also a published author on Suite 101.
My message in education is clear: parents need reasonable and current information to make informed choices concerning their children. That belief led me to my a job at Justmeans, where I blogged in the education channel.
Although my interest began in education, it soon spilled over into parenting for two reasons. One, I became a parent. Two, as I returned to graduate school and continued teaching, I saw the huge connection between school life and parenting. Without participation and involvement from one, students struggled. I hope to help others by sharing my insights as an educator and parent.
