Laura Jean Karr is a freelance artist and writer who just happens to be
Pagan. Some of her past work includes a weekly column through The
Florida Times Union called Pagan Perspectives ,
former Creative Services Coordinator for The Ellsworth American and
individual projects for The Bucksport Enterprise. She is also currently the Religion & Spirtuality national examiner for news source Examiner.com.
Laura was ordained as a non-denominational minster in 1996 and has been honored enough to preside over a few handfastings and funeral services since then. She was awarded the 2002 National Poet of Merit award in Washington,D.C. and has been published in over eight anthologies. Laura, also holds a B.A. in Education and is in a constant mode of life long learning.
