Laura is a New York State Licensed Master Social Worker currently employed as a mental health specialist in a mental health clinic. She has been published in The New Social Worker online magazine.

Undergraduate studies completed at Marist College as a double major in communication and Spanish, with a minor in journalism. Semester abroad in Madrid, Spain at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. During her time abroad, Laura traveled to Paris, London, Dublin, Morocco, Munich, Cascais, Lisbon, Milan, Florence, Rome, Venice, Barcelona and various parts of Spain. Laura is an avid traveler who has since gone to Prague and anticipates her dream destinations, which are Greece (Santorini specifically), New Zealand, and Australia.

Graduate studies completed at SUNY Albany in the social welfare program with a clinical concentration. Laura specialized in children, adolescents and families. Laura interned at a homeless shelter for mothers and children her first year of graduate school. She completed her second year of graduate school while interning as a middle school social worker.
