About Me

Kayar, 37, has BS degrees in biology and geology, and an MS degree in marine biology. Kayar has spent over a decade working as a staff scientist at an oceanographic research institute, though not the same one the whole time. Kayar enjoys writing about all sorts of science, and especially enjoys the challenge of explaining complex concepts in a way that non-scientists can understand. When not engaged in science, Kayar plays lots of Facebook games and writes about those, too.
