About Me

Born in Russian city of Sverdlovsk (now Ekaterinburg), I have emigrated to Israel in 1990.

Received a degree in Aerospace Engineering for the Technion - National Isntitute of Technology. Throughout the study years, worked in an educational company "Knowledge Center", tutoring computers and programming, GMAT and psychotechnic courses.

Served in Israel Air Force in the rank of Acting Captain and the position of Chief Analyst in the department of Engineering, base 22.

Finished the military service in 2006 and establshed a Mechanical Engineering consultansy firm, Sigma-Plus (www.sigma-plus.co.il). The company specialty (beside Mechanical Engineering and Design projects) is Finite Element Analysis projects and training. The company uniqueness is in being absolutely independent of FE software. Whatever FE program the client uses - we can assist him in the task.

With the expansion of Sigma Plus has chosen to head the Software Branch of the company (www.software.sigma-plus.co.il), commiting myself to Programming, SEO and writing. However, I am still active in the Mechanical Engineering field as well.

Sigma Plus Software specializes in creating small scripts and macro designed and configured to meet unique customer's needs. This includes VBA macros for MS-Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and more) CAD scripts, APDL programs and website scrapping and other stand-alone applications.

After over 8 years in Engineering Industry, I have switched (3 years ago) towards programming (mostly VBA) and content writing. I am writing regularly for an online magazine (priceformmonthly), SEO-blog (seomoves.org/blog) and news-related website (hotnewsmakers.com).

I love sports (especially table-tennis, basketball and chess) and consider myself a serious computer games fan - mainly of sport and strategy games. Also enjoy trivia and is a captain of the "Engineers" team in Haifa Team Trivia League.
