About Me

I'm been a fairly avid gamer since my first experiences with the Sega Master System. I collect and refurbished vintage systems. I love the well-known NES, SNES and Genesis classics, but I also am an avid gamer of consoles most people aren't aware or fond of, including the CD-I, Virtual Boy and the Jagaur.

Though I still like the old stuff, I also have the three current-gen consoles. I tend to not be a 'fanboy' of a particular game manufacturer, though I do find myself playing my 360 more than my PS3.

I received a bachelor's degree in English from Framingham State College in Mass. I freelanced for several weeklies in the north shore area of Mass until I moved to Central Jersey to take on a full-time writing job.

I have recently begun working on a blog with a friend of mine regarding old school gaming. Most of the stuff that is rolling around in my brain and isn't able to be used in a Brighthub story goes here.

  • One of the greatest aspects of the Microsoft XBOX 360 is the gamerscore and achievement point system. It has created a new dimension of gamer competition. The quest for points can be arduous and downright shameful, here are some the things I'm almost ashamed to admit I did for points.

  • Data East is revived on the Nintendo Wii

  • There have been numerous collections of arcade classics released on more contemporary consoles from companies such as Capcom, Midway, Taito, Tecmo and more. However, a collection of classics rise from a long forgotten, defunct game developer known as Data East. Relive these classics on your Wii.
