I'm a mans man. I'm a ladies man, but most importantly I'm a one woman man. Its alwase good to have someone strange on your side but I am not that person. I'm the guy you look at and ask, who is that guy. Well its me! I love classic games! I have played and beaten almost every final Fantasy Game ever made on every platform, including tactics(ok... except chocobos dungeon). Sure the snes versions were on an emulator on my PC, but still the genious is stilll there. The code... is awsome. The time people spent manipulating sprites, and pushing pixels, is not lost on this kid from the sticks. I'm some what of an ameture programmer, and writer. I like to script in AGS. I like to write in spiral notebooks. I'm currently getting my CIT degree in Computer Programming. I'm just not actually going to college right now... I'm a cook at some resturant. What matters is I'm damn good at it. A curse with everything I do, I get locked into it so much, well... I never get out. I only wish to make friends with people who actually know what they are doing so that maybe someday I can get my own story across. I would love to share my scattered thoughts, in some kind of orginized fashon. Just get me started!
8-Bit Vs. MMO
What ever happened to the intense sence of being locked into a story, and actually battling your opponents, compared to the finger pounding. Mind wrenching sub-glory of todays, Multi User Dungeons, lol, muds, remember those, anyway the point is. Why are we trading production value for plot, and on the contrary, why are there not enough cold hard games out there to slake my thirst for a meaty MMORPG. You can delve hundreds of hours deep into a game to find out you built your stats wrong and you have to start all over again. I remember a time when you beat the dragon, saved the princess, and it was over. Will there ever be a compelling addictive game with millions of users, that can bring me joy of the unheard variety? I dont think the PC has ever given me such joy as the old contoller, Then again there was Full Throttle.
You will find it glistening buried in the cracks and crags of the earth, the dark green jewl of §?
I've set myself comepletely on fire. Been to collage, currently writing RPG's on AGS. Looking forward to publishing my new book, Junkland.
