I have done my graduation in Mechanical Engineering from University of Pune, India. Presently I'm providing freelance writing services with specialization in technical area and software review writing. However, most of my time is spent on Brighthub, writing and editing various articles in the field of Mechanical Engineering. My favorite subjects in Mechanical Engineering are thermodynamics, and all those related to thermal engineering. Having worked extensively in the fields of HVAC and Automobiles, I write passionately about them.
I'm also running a small computer institute where we teach computer courses to new students.
My career began as a trainee engineer in the production shop, where plastic molds are manufactured. My job was to learn, plan and supervise manufacturing activities.
Later, I joined a Chemical Company, where I was recruited in Caustic Membrane Cell (CMC) project. My role was to erect, install and commission the utilities plants. These included chlorine liquefaction plant, water chilling plant, central air-conditioning plant, non-lubricated type instrumentation air-compression plant, non-lubricated type padding air-compression plant, cooling tower, DM water plant etc. After commissioning of these plants I was involved into operation and maintenance of these plants. A team of new personnel were also developed to operate and maintain the plant activities. Apart from the above plants I was also given responsibility of maintenance of 500 KVA generator, hydraulic operated bulldozer, pumps and blowers. During my stint at this company, NRC Limited, I was closely working on hardcore mechanical engineering equipments and machines.
Later, I joined Engineering College as a Lecturer. While in NRC I worked practically on almost all mechanical equipments, in the Engineering College I taught theoretical aspects of Mechanical Engineering to the students.
Before the college job, I also worked in the head office of the home appliances company as a Senior Service Officer. Here I was in charge of air-conditioning division. My job was to coordinate with 72 service centers all over India and give quality feedback to the manufacturing unit.
