I spent the better part of five years as a store manager for Hollywood Video and Gamestop before quitting to finish my degree.
I finished my Associates Degree in 2006 and my B.A. in English with a writing minor in the Fall of '08. I finished my Masters in Teaching in 2011.
I was Managing and Assistant Editor for my college paper and was responsible for designing our award-winning pull out Arts and Entertainment section, The Ticket.
I've also published short fiction in the Oregon State University literary magazine, Prism.
I've published over 400 online articles, including the Ultimate Guide to Red Dead Redemption. My work has been featured on Newsweek.com, the official Star Trek Online page, and the official Battlefield Blog.

Bright Hub Contributing Editor of the Year, 2010.
I've been writing articles online for three years, publishing hundreds of game guides, reviews, and "Top 5" pieces. I have worked as a Contributing Writer for Suite101.com, a Content Producer at Associated Content, and am currently a Senior Writer and Contributing Editor here at Bright Hub.
I've been playing video games for over twenty years now. I've owned every major console and lost countless hours of my life to many of the most high-profile MMOs, starting with Ultima Online, through Everquest, Star Wars Galaxies, Dark Age of Camelot, City of Heroes, and World of Warcraft. I've even dabbled in the worlds of EvE Online and the ill-fated Earth and Beyond.
