Grace Ibay has a Masters in Genetic Epidemiology from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. She worked as a research scientist with the National Human Genome Research Institute, NIH from 2003-2008. Some of the projects included the genetics of myopia and other eye diseases where her involvement ranged from analyses to co-authorship. Her co-authored research articles have appeared in peer-reviewed genetics and science journals.

Grace has always had a passion for writing, and her extensive health background equips her to breakdown scientific information into relevant and interesting articles.

Currently, Grace works as a partime data analyst for the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, in between caring for her young children. She also writes a blog for b5media Inc.
