My name is Cheryl Gabbert, hence the "Gabbi" nickname. I am first of all mommy to 4 beautiful children, and wife to an awesome husband. My life is dedicated to serving God as a born again Christian. I have done a lot of different things in my life. It seems I'm always searching for some new, exciting, and fun thing to try. I hate boredom worse than anything. I was a respiratory therapist for 7 years and an early childhood teacher in the public schools for around 6 years. I'm still involved in the field of early intervention, but now I'm working with the under 3 crowd as a developmental specialist with my own Birth to 3 practice.
I love to draw and paint. Prismacolors are awesome. I have sold my art on Ebay and Zazzle. I also love to read, and I'm a real fitness and nutrition fanatic. I am an avid walker and researcher of all things related to health and nutriton. I'm always in search of natural cures and home remedies. As real health fanatic, I enjoy sharing these passions on Bright Hub.
I have a special interest in gluten free living, since that's the world I've lived in for the past year. I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease and have had the "pleasure" of dealing with many different food intolerances. I've turned this challenge into an opportunity to help others who are dealing with food intolerances and allergies. I write about this subject a lot because I live it every day.
