About Me

I am very excited to start writing for Bright Hub! I am working in a small town in Massachusetts right now. I just finished up my master's degree in elementary education!

I love spending time with my family and friends, and when I am not doing either of those two things I am either enjoying television (House, Scrubs, Soup) or I am writing. Besides writing articles I am also an avid writer in my free time writing short fiction stories.

My Experience

In the fall of 2006 I became a Special Education Teaching Assistant in Bedford, MA working one-on-one with a behavior student. While working I began working towards my master's degree in elementary education at Fitchburg State College. The 2007-2008 school year I was a 4th grade replacement teacher for the full school year replacing a teacher on maternity leave. This year I am back to being a teaching assistant since the job market is so difficult.
