About Me
Hello, My name is Dawn Velez, for the past seven years I have been an in home child care provider in the Atlanta area. I enjoy reading, writing, and of course all things children. I hope to share my knowledge of children involving fitness, nutrition, and other concerns parents may have for their little ones.
In my personal life I am married and have four fabulous children ranging in ages from 18 to 10 months.
My Awards & Certifications
I am certified in CPR/First Aid, as well as received annual awards for nutrition from Gwinnett Children's Food Umbrella for outstanding food service since 2004. I currently own and operate a nanny placement agency where I help families connect with qualified candidates for live in and live out child care and household management assistance.
My Experience
Over the past 17 plus years I have worked with children in a home environment off and on. In 2003 I decided to turn my passion into a business which would allow me the flexibility to be a stay at home mom, and be President of my own company. Doing what I love has provided a great source of income for my family over the years. I have extended what I love by providing a top quality household management service which includes butlers, cooks, Lawn Maintenance, chauffeur's, au pair's, and nanny's. My articles will reflect my personal experiences in both fields.
