Born in July 1940, graduated in Mechanical Engineering in the year 1963. Took post graduate degree in Heat Power Engineering in 1967 from College of Enginnering, guindy, Madras(Chennai). Worked for research degree in Indian Institute of Technology, Madras from 1970 to 1974 and Ph.D. was awarded in 1975.
Involved in teaching, research and guidance since 1967. Published/presented a number of technical papers, reports and reviews in journals and conferences.
Worked in M/s. Zenith Steel Pipes Ltd., Khopoli, Maharashtra as Junior Engineer for one year immediately after graduation. Joined Regional Engineering College, Calicut, Kerala as Lecturer,after post graduation and worked for about 10 years. In the year 1978, joined Regional Engineering College, Trichy, Tamilnadu as Asst. Professor. I was selected as selected as Professor in the same College in the year 1981. Became head of the dept. of Mechanical Engineering in the year 1982 and left the College in the 1998.
Joined as Principal of Crescent Engineering College, Chennai in the year 1998 and worked there until Nov. 2005. Soon joined MES College of Engineering, Kuttippuram, Kerala as Principal and subsequently took charge as Director and continuing to work in the post.
