From 1999 - 2007, I telecommuted 2-5 days a week as a liability claims
adjuster for Farmers Insurance. I had a company car, cell phone,
laptop, printer, and digital camera. It was up to me to visit and
photograph the 50 new injury claimants I
received every month. I was responsible for taking statements from all
parties, for photographing the scenes of accidents, for obtaining
police reports, for determining who was at fault in the accident,and
for settling the injury claims out of court. Additionally, in 2005 and
2006 I was a monthly panelist at Arbitration Forums.
