In the future, there will be no need for mind altering drugs and binge drinking. People will just plug into the 'Matrix' and get high on information. If you've ever had a 12 hour marathon session of Internet surfing or are recovering from a WoW addiction, then you already know what I'm talking about.
Fortunately, there's a plethora of tech-savvy websites (including Brighthub) to cater to the cyber-geek in all of us. While my real world interests include medicine, guitars, motorcycles and Aikido, my virtual counterpart is in love with gadgets, new software upgrades and web design.
With atleast a half a dozen screens running with everything from articles and video tutorials to background music, email and IM all going on at the same time, I find myself bathing in information; learning by a sort of 'osmosis' I guess. I suppose a lot of people do this; you sort of have to if you want to keep up these days.
With that in mind, I'm hoping to contribute as much as I can to what I consider one of the best writer communities out there. I hope you enjoy my articles as much as I've enjoyed researching and writing them. Send me a line if you need any 'elaboration'.
