Learn How to Install a Module on Os Commerce

Installing Os Commerce Modules

In Os Commerce, there are plenty of different modules which can be installed. There are four different categories of modules in Os Commerce. Under each category, there are many different modules. This guide will demonstrate how to install a module on Os Commerce. This detailed guide on how to open your modules page and how to install modules will help you get your Os Commerce website tailored to your specific needs.

Locating the Modules Page in Os Commerce

The first step is to open the main module page. Visit the admin panel of Os Commerce and login using the login name and password. After logging in, locate the admin menu, which should be located on the left side of the admin panel. In the menu, locate the Module link and click it. The module’s page will then be opened.

Selecting the Module Category

Now that you have opened the module page, you will need to select the category with the module you want to install. On the left side of the page, below the Module link, you will see the different categories. Select the category with the module you want to install.

Installing a Module on Os Commerce

Now you are ready to install a module on Os Commerce. In the middle of the page you are currently viewing, you will see the different modules that are available in the category you selected. Click the module in the middle of the page that you wish to install. Now look to the right of your page and you will see a box with the name of the module you selected. In that box, you will see the Install button. Click the Install button to install the module you selected. That’s all there is to it.

If you see a delete and edit button in the box on the right, that means the module you are trying to install has already been installed. So, you will not need to re-install it. However, you can edit the module or delete it.

HI brighthub,

Thanks for your post..

But with your instarations i got a plb with my admin login. I dont have login for for my client os commerce site. He given one link if we click on that direct we can get admin panel.

I dont know much about oscommerce, can you please tell me is that real admin details or some thing different.

Help me out please.
