In this part of the tutorial, I will show you how to change the look of your scrollbar and how to apply effects to your pages.

This is part three of the Modifying the Page Properties tutorial. In this tutorial, I will show you how to modify the scrollbar properties and the page transitions. Assuming you still have your Page Properties box open, you will need to click the Scrollbars tab. We will walk through the scrollbar section first.

How to Modify the Scrollbar Properties for your Webpage

In the scrollbar section of Web Builder Page Properties, you will notice a lot of color fields. This is where you will set up the colors to create your scrollbar. In the bottom of the box, you will see the scrollbar preview. Every time you make a change to the scrollbar, you will see it in the bottom panel.

All of the scrollbar fields are pretty self explanatory. You will need to click the boxes and select the color that you want for that section. You may need to play around with this section to create the scrollbar you are looking for. Nothing is final until you click the OK button, so go ahead and create your scrollbar how you want it. To apply the scrollbar to every page in your site, click the Apply to All button.

How to Modify the Page Transitions

Click the Page Transitions tab at the top of your properties box. The first section is the event section. This box is asking you to choose when you want the effect to be applied. Drop the box down and make your selection.

The second section is asking what effect you want to apply to the page. Scroll through the effects and click the effect of your choice. The last step is to set the duration time. You will see the duration box at the bottom of the panel. Enter the number of seconds in this field.

Now you can click the OK button on the Page Properties box to apply the effects. That is how you modify your page properties in Web Builder. To make changes to the properties at any time, click Page > Page Properties. If you want each page to be different, you will need to open each page and repeat the steps I just showed you.

If you wish for the page properties that you just modified be applied to all of the pages, click the Apply to All button in the page properties box.
