With this section, you can change the background of the page, change the link, add music, and more. We will walk through each section of the Formatting Properties section in Web Builder. Click the Formatting tab in the box you are in.

Modifying the Background Properties of your Webpage

The first section is the background properties. Let’s take a look at the background properties of the page.

Image – You can use an image as your background. If you wish to use an image, click the Browse button and locate the image you want to use. Double click the image to open it.

Repeat – If the background is not the same size of the page, you can choose for it to repeat itself. If you want it to repeat itself, choose the repeat option of your choice. If you do not want it to repeat, choose the Do Not Repeat option.

Fixed Background – If you want the background to be the size of the image you chose, tick this field.

Horizontal Align / Vertical Align – If the image is not the same size as the page and you chose for it not to repeat, select the alignment of the image by dropping these two boxes down.

Background Color – If you do not want to use a background image, you can choose a background color. To select a background color, click this color box and select the color of your choice.

Modifying the Link Properties for your Webpage

In this part of the box, you can change the link properties. You can only change the colors of the links in this section. The very bottom section is where you change the text style and size. Let’s take a look at the link properties.

To change the link colors above, click the color box and select the color of your choice.

If you want to add sound to your webpage, this is where you would do it. You will see the sound field in the properties box. At the end of the field, you will see the Browse button. Click the Browse button and select the file you want to add. If you want the sound to play over and over, tick the Forever box. It you only want it to repeat a certain number of times, untick the Forever field and enter the number of times in the Loop field.

Modifying the Font Properties for your Webpage

The last section in this box is the font properties. In this section, you will need to select the font style, color, and size. Simply click the boxes and make your choices.
