In the Plugins section of WordPress is where you will edit and manage Plugins that you have installed on WordPress. This tutorial will show you how to navigate through the Plugins section of WordPress. So, let’s get started. Click the Plugins link on the right side of your window to navigate to the Plugins section.
Navigating the Plugins Section of WordPress
Any Plugins that you install on WordPress will be located in this section. This is where you will activate and deactivate your WordPress Plugins. In this section, you will see the Plugins that are available. Beside each plugin, you will see a box, tick that box and click the Activate button to activate it. To deactivate it, tick the box and click the Deactivate the button. To edit a plugin, click the edit link at the end of the plugin. To delete a plugin, tick the field beside the plugin and click Delete. To get more Plugins, see the link at the bottom of the Plugins page. Navigating the Plugin Editor Section of WordPress
Some Plugins require that you edit them before they will work. This is more for the advanced users, but some Plugins come with beginner tutorials. On the right side of the page you will see the Plugins that are installed. Click the plugin that you want to edit. In the middle panel you will see the code for the plugin. If you are required to edit the plugin, this is where you will edit it. Some Plugins offer tutorials and the tutorials will walk you through editing the code if it is required. After you have edited the code, you will need to click the Update File button to save the changes to the code.
