Do you need to change your theme on WordPress? In the design section, you can change your theme, edit your theme, and manage your widgets. In this tutorial, I will show you how to navigate through the design section of WordPress.

This tutorial will show you how to navigate the Design Section of WordPress. The design section is where you will change your theme, edit the theme, and manage the WordPress widgets. In this tutorial I will show you how to use this section. I will briefly walk you through each section. Click the Design tab at the top of your page. Under the design tab are the links that we will be using for this tutorial.

Navigating the Themes Section in WordPress

We will first take a look at the themes section in WordPress. The themes section is where you will select which theme you want to use. To choose a theme, simply click the theme that you want to use. If you wish to download more themes and install them, please see this tutorial. The only thing that you will do in this section of WordPress is apply a theme by clicking the theme of your choice. A window will open and show you a preview of the theme and you can activate it or cancel it.

Navigating the Widgets Section in WordPress

The widgets section is where all of your widgets are stored. You can add a widget to your WordPress site by clicking the Add button beside the widget. To edit a widget, you will need to click the Edit link beside the widget, then click the Edit link on the right side of your screen. A box will expand and you can edit your widget in that box. Then you will need to click the Save Changes button. You can also download other widgets from the Internet to use.

Navigating the Theme Editor Section in WordPress

The Theme Editor section is where you can edit the code of the theme that you are using. If you do not know how to code, you will not need to use this section. If you know how to code, you can use the theme editor to change the code to what you want. In the theme editor, you can change the CSS, call functions, images, and more.

I strongly recommend that you do not use the theme editor if you are unfamiliar with code. If you delete or edit the wrong thing, it will wipe your entire WordPress site out. If you do wish to play around with your code, I recommend opening notepad, copy the code from your editor and paste it in notepad and save it. That way, if you change the wrong thing and lose your site, you can copy the code from the notepad and paste it back in the editor.
