In this tutorial I will show you how to navigate through the Manage section of WordPress. To get to the Manage section, you will need to login to your admin panel and click the Manage tab at the top of the page. Under the manage tab, you will find many different things that you can manage. Basically, managing means editing things. I will briefly go through the things under the Manage tab.
Navigating the Post Section
To get to the post section, click the Post link under the Manage tab. This section will display a list of the posts you have created. In this section, you can edit your posts and delete them. To delete them, tick the field beside the post that you want to delete and click the delete button. To edit a post, click the title of the post and you will be carried to the editor where you can edit the post.
Navigating the Pages Section
To get to the Page section, click the Page link. This section is about the same as the Post section. In this section, you can edit your pages, and delete them. You edit and delete the pages the same way you did the posts.
Navigating the Link Section
The link section is where all of your created links will be stored. You can delete links from this page and you can edit them. To delete them, tick the field next to the ones you want to delete and click the delete button. To edit the link, click the title of the link.
Navigating the Category Section
The Category link is in the next in the row. This section allows you to manage the categories that you have created for your site. You can also create new categories in this section. Click the Categories link and I will walk you through it. To add a new category, click the Add New link. Type in the information for your new category in the fields that appear. Then click the Add Category button. To edit a category, click the title of the category and edit the fields when the page reloads. To delete a category, tick the field next to the category that you want to delete and click the delete button.
Navigating the Tags Section
The Tags section is where you create tags for your posts. You can create many different tags. When you are creating new posts, you can select from the list of tags instead of having to type all of them in by hand. In this section, you can create the tags by clicking the add new button. You can delete the tags that you do not want by ticking the field next to the tag and clicking the delete button.
