Create a new document in Adobe Illustrator to work on. Then get your rectangle tool and draw a rectangle for your menu. This is the base of your menu. We will build everything else from this rectangle. If you need to resize the menu, you can do so at any time by using the transform tool in your toolbar.

Step One – Applying the Gradient to the Rectangle
Step one is to open the gradient box and apply the blue gradient. To open the particular gradient box with this gradient style, click Window > Swatch Libraries > Gradients > Sky. The second gradient which is Sky 2 is the gradient that you are looking for. Click the rectangle to select it, then click the gradient to apply it.
Step Two – Changing the Stroke Properties of the Menu
The second step is to change the stroke properties of the menu. Click the rectangle to select it. At the top of your window you will see the stroke properties. Change the stroke size to 2pt. On the left side of your window in the toolbar, you will need to change the stroke color to # 0093D8. Double click the box and enter the code in the box. Click OK to apply it.
Step Three – Adding the Snowflakes to the Menu
The third step is to add the snowflakes to the menu. There is a snowflake at the top left corner and a snowflake at the bottom right corner. You will need to open the symbol box with the snowflakes. Go to the top of Illustrator and click Window > Symbol Libraries > Nature. You are looking for the Snowflake 1 symbol. Hover over the symbols to see the names of them. Once you find the snowflake, drag the snowflake to the menu. You may need to resize the snowflake. Drag the other snowflake to the menu and position them like the one in my image.
Step Four – Adding Drop Shadows
Select the menu and the two snowflakes. Hold down shift to select all of them. Go to the top of your window and click Effects > Stylize > Drop Shadow. Apply the default shadow to the menu and two snowflakes.
Step Five – Adding the Text
Now you are ready to add the text to your menu. Select the font style, size, and color of your choice for the text. Type your links and apply a default drop shadow to the text. Apply the shadow the same way you did in step four. After adding your text, you can export your menu.
