If you use both Google AdSense and Analytics, you'll be glad to know Google is gradually rolling out a useful feature which allows you to integrate your Google AdSense account with your Google Analytics account. Here's how you can set it up and use it to improve your AdSense revenu

Clicking on this link will bring you to your Google Analytics accounts. You will be given some code snippets that you need to insert into your website pages where Google AdSense is running. Then you will have to wait for a couple of days while Google Analytics does its work and come up with up-to-date Analytics report about your website.
From then on, you can access your Google AdSense first to check variable earned revenues as well as to go to your Google Analytics/AdSense information page. If you don't have an Analytics account, that invitation will point to the Analytics account creation page. Alternatively, you can log-in to your Analytics account, select your site, and then click Content -> AdSense located on the right side of your Analytics account.
Features of the Integrated Google AdSense and Analytics
Once you've integrated your Google AdSense and Analytics accounts, you will gain access to the wealth of reports and statistics that Analytics has culled relating to user activities on your website. Specifically, this integration will give you the following additional analytics data:
- Unique visitors
- Visitor Language
- AdSense revenue generated
- AdSense link units that were clicked
- AdSense CTR
- AdSense eCPM
- AdSense Unit Impressions
- AdSense Unit Impressions/Visit
- AdSense Page Impressions
- AdSense Page Impressions/ Visit
Additionally you will also see some other details including your site's AdSense Details.
Benefits of Integrating Google AdSense and Google Analytics accounts
Although Google AdSense already has its comprehensive account reporting system, it is still wise to use Google Analytics to analyze your site's AdSense performance. Google Analytics reports are more granular than AdSense reports, and could be a powerful tool when optimizing your Site's AdSense units. Equipped with this relevant and useful feature you can now make more informed decisions on how to improve the experiences of your site visitors.
But the best part about this feature is the simple fact you don't have to open two accounts separately just to check the performance of your sites which are registered on your Analytics account.
And of course, the data coverage of Google Analytics is far more exhaustive than the information that AdSense can provide. Knowing your site visitor's activities, including where they came from before reaching your site, top destination on your site, and other important information can lead to a better AdSense campaign strategy with the ultimate goal of earning more revenue.
