Throbbing Headache pain

Many times when we experience the throbbing pain caused from a headache, we may fail to ask ourselves several questions. Rarely do people want to get to the root of the problem. Many times, it seems easier to just mask the symptoms. Headaches are a way for your body to let you know that something internally is wrong. This is a gentle nudge that may start off dull, and increase in intensity and frequency.

Coffee

You may feel thirsty, stressed out, or simply tired. Your headaches may be caused by too much caffiene. Caffeine lurks in drinks, over the counter medications, and diet pills. Cutting back on caffeine, and reading labels to see exactly what each products contain may help. Your body may be sensitive to foods containing msg, or other unnatural additives. Being constipated or consuming too much sugar, also can cause headaches. If you are experiencing a headache at the same time everyday, sit down and think about what you ate and drank. The process of elimination may work out well for you if you are experiencing consistent headaches.

Your mid morning latte that is filled with excess sugar and caffeine combined with donuts, may be too much sugar for you to have in one single setting. A great alternative is to have your fresh tea or coffee, add milk, cream, or half and half. Then add your own syrups and sweetener to control the amount of sugar placed in your beverage. White flour donuts are high in sugar, you may need to eliminate or substitute this snack for a food that will keep your blood sugar steady.

Water

Our bodies need clean water daily to function well. However, it is very easy to drink regularly throughout the day and not have any water at all. From coffee, tea to soda our days are filled with readily available beverages that are not as flavorfull as water. Sipping cold water may be enough to quicky banish your headache. Being dehydrated will bring on headaches. If your headache is stubborn, and you still have pain try an acv drink. Start with six to eight ounces of water, ice, and one to two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar. Sip this drink slowly through a straw, or sip it down slowly hot in a mug. This works well with raw apple cider vinegar. Regular vinegar may not be as effective.
