Reiki Training
Anyone can learn and experience Reiki. You do not need any special condition to learn it. You should have an open mind to new concepts and teaching specially related to natural healing concepts which you will learn as you progress on your Reiki training path.
There are different types of Reiki and training programs. The majority of the training programs are divided in three levels. Each level is a more advanced one introducing new concepts and practices in Reiki.
Reiki Level I or First Degree
The first level can be seen as an introductory level of training. The trainee receives all information needed to understand Reiki, what it is, how it is used and what for. This level of training is for people who want to starts on the path of the Reiki technique. In this level, the trainee will learn how use Reiki for natural self-healing purposes and will learn about hand positions foe healing. After all info is given to the student, he will be ready for his (or her) first attunement. Attunements are procedures followed by Masters in Reiki to open up the flow of Reiki Energy into the student so he can start to use Reiki Energy for healing purposes.
Reiki Level II or Second Degree
The Reiki Level II or Second Degree makes you better understand the Reiki healing technique. At this level the student will be introduced to Reiki sacred symbols, their significance and what they are used for. The student learns about distant healing and sending Reiki energy though distance. With the second level of Reiki training you will be ready to start applying Reiki sessions on other people. The ability of self-healing and healing other people are greatly increased with the second level of Reiki Training. More attunements are received at this level of Reiki training.
Master Degree or Reiki Level III
This level of Reiki training is for people who really want to continue into the Reiki system and become (with time) a Master in Reiki. A master in Reiki is allowed to teach Reiki to others. In this training the student learns all the sign and symbols of Reiki, how to apply them and how to use Reiki to heal other people.
