Free Workout Routines & Fitness Tips

A safe, healthy workout starts with a warmup session, stretching and warming muscles and tendons so you don’t injure yourself. The goal of a good workout is to increase your heart rate in order to get an aerobic workout that helps you to burn calories. Another goal is to tighten and strengthen muscles throughout the body so you can tone muscle groups.

Exercise helps you to feel more alert, sleep better at night and strengthens your bones. As you get back into shape, you also feel more confident of yourself.

If you have not been physically active, you should visit your doctor to make sure an exercise program will be healthy for you. Follow your doctor’s orders regarding exercise.
