VMware Fusion is a virtualization application for the Macintosh. VMware Fusion allows guest operating systems such as Windows, Linux and Solaris to be run simultaneously on the MacOS desktop. This is useful for testing and debugging applications across platforms, as well as running applications that are not available for the Mac environment.
VMware Fusion supports both 32 and 64 bit guest operating systems, and includes features such as a seamless desktop (Unity view), DirectX 9.0 support, snapshots, shared folders, and a variety of networking options.
This guide shows you how to install, configure and use VMware Fusion.
