Task Manager is very useful in Windows because it allows you to see at a glance what applications and processes are running on your computer, which of them are using the most resources, etc. Task Manager is useful for troubleshooting computer problems but it also can be used to detect suspicious programs.
By default Task Manager is pretty powerful but if you want to make it even more powerful (and useful), there are tons of tweaks we share with you on this page. Some of the tweaks apply to almost any version of Windows, while others are not that universal but still it makes sense to know them and to apply them when ans where appropriate.
