One of the most emblematic professions in IT is the profession of the system administrator. A system administrator, a.k.a. sysadmin, is the person in charge of the computers within a given company. This is a challenging (and not always equally rewarding) position and it requires skills in many IT areas – from hardware, to software and networks.
