Buying & Using a Sound Card

The sound card of your computer is the device which renders bytes to acoustic signals. A sound card for instance makes it possible to listen to Musicmusic, have voice in movies and permits you to have phone conversations over the Internet using MSN, Skype or ICQ for example.

In contrast to on-board sound cards, high-end computers have their own device to render music, usually in higher quality than onboard devices which share the CPU with all other computer tasks such as the operating system and your running applications.

Here you find the latest sound card news and product reviews along with useful tips and tricks.
