Safari is a web browser created by Apple and available for MacOS X and Windows XP, Vista and 7. Safari is the 4th most popular web browser, behind Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome.
Safari uses the WebKit library to render web pages, which is based of code originally written for Konquerer; a web browser for the Linux KDE desktop environment. WebKit has since been adopted by the Chrome web browser, and reintegrated back into KDE.
