Safely Rebooting Your Computer or Device

Reboot options

Adding or removing programs or installing security updates in computers sometimes requires a reboot. Restarting the device or OS using an advanced startup option such as safe mode, safe mode with networking, a clean-boot, repair or to last known configuration are used in the troubleshooting process. Smart phones using Symbian, Windows Mobile or Android operating systems may also require a restart to apply the changes on the system especially you've done a firmware upgrade.

You’ll find articles on the subject with useful tips for devices, computers and software products that requires a reboot. You'll also learn how to customize the boot loader in Windows. Also, we have plenty of important and helpful tips in preventing a system or power failure during the boot process.
