Determining a Student's Reading Level

booksKnowing and utilizing a student's reading level is important to getting the most out of their education. If they are working or reading at a level that is not suitable, they are wasting their time. If they work at a reading level that is too high for them, they can become frustrated. Working at a level that is too low, does not offer a challenge or a chance for growth.
