Pocket PC is a range of operating systems released by Microsoft to power mobile and handheld devices. Both Pocket PC 2000 and Pocket PC 2002 ran Windows CE 3.0. Pocket PC also refers to devices running a mobile version of the Windows operating system, although the term Pocket PC has since been dropped in favor of Windows Mobile.
Pocket PC devices were manufactured by a number of companies including HP, Toshiba, Acer, ASUS, Dell, Fujitsu Siemens, E-TEN, HTC, and ViewSonic.
