P2P softwareP2P software stands for peer-to-peer software. P2P software is usually used to share digital files such as music and video for example. The software establishes and manages your up and downloads connection over a P2P network such as the Internet.

Famous P2P programs include eMule and eDonkey for example, yet these networks have recently become the victim of fake files and lots of pirated software which carries myriads of malware like viruses and Trojans for example. Also, to avoid harsh fines and stiff penalties make sure you don’t use P2P software to distribute files for which you don’t have permission.
