Guide to New York Times

After the paper was bought by Adolph Ochs, the Times grew into a daily newspaper and gained respect around the world. The NY Times covered two world wars, the sinking of the Titanic and became embroiled in controversy after publishing the Pentagon Papers. Today, the New York Times is printed at several regional sites and it enjoys nationwide circulation. The paper has matured into one of the most respected and influential newspapers worldwide and is the flagship of The New York Times Co., which also owns interests in The Boston Globe, several magazines, and electronic and broadcast media.
