By definition, nanotechnology is engineering of functional systems on an atomic and molecular scale. The structure sizes based on nanotechnology range between at least 1 and 100 nanometers in one dimension. All the materials that are developed using nanotechnology fall in this range. Nanotechnology has found many applications in the field of health care, electronics, energy production and bio-medicine.
