The Complete Guide to Access Databases

Access Database LogoAn Access Database is used to store information created by Microsoft Access or third party applications. Access Databases usually have the file extension MDB or MDBX. They are sometimes known as a Joint Engine Technology (JET) database.

Access Databases store all database tables, queries, forms, reports, macros, and modules. The database also provides support for security, referential integrity, transaction processing, indexing, record and page locking, and data replication.
