Lions are exciting for children of any age. Whether you are watching a lion at the zoo or The Lion King, somehow you are mesmerized. My favorite stuffed animal as a child was a lion and he sat in my classroom for many years. So I offer you this guide for all that Bright Hub has to offer about lions.

What do you think of when you hear the word lion? Do you think of African lions or Daniel and the Lion? Or perhaps you think of lion crafts or lion finger plays in a preschool classroom. Maybe you think of lion books like A Lion to Guard Us by Clyde Robert Bulla or The Lion Butterfly by Michael Morpurgo. Perhaps your child is watching Between the Lions on the PBS Kids Channel. Any of those things may come to mind when you hear the word lion.
