Hewlett-Packard, or HP for short, was founded by Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard in 1939 when they were attending Stanford University. HP, the Palo Alto, California based company, has since then grown to the world’s largest IT company with annual revenue being close to 115 billion dollars and with a head count of over 300,000 employees.
